Hi, my name is Jitka :-) Newborns are by far my favourite subjects to photograph.
I love capturing those tiny details in babies and providing images that will last a lifetime and remind parents of just how small their babies were and how quickly they change! As a mum of two beautiful boys I know how quickly they grow and how quickly you forget how small they were. They are tiny and precious for only the blink of an eye.
I love telling a story,creating a memory for others to look back on,to reminisce on one of the best,most memorable moments in life.
I know how precious your little ones are so safety is my upmost priority whether I am taking pictures of a newborn or of an older child. I will always go at their speed and make sure they are safe and comfortable.
Although I am lucky enough to have been trained by some of the top Newborn,Maternity,Children and Fine Arts photographers in the UK and worldwide. I believe that no mater how good you are there is always room for improvement so that is why I regularly attend new courses and trainings every year.
I encourage parents being photographed with their baby and love capturing the precious relationship between you and your baby at this early stage. I also love photographing older siblings with their new brother or sister. This can sometimes be difficult depending on the age of your older child however I will always do my absolute best to capture them together. The most precious and important pictures I have are those of my two boys together.
THE SESSION
The best age for photographing newborns is when they are between 6-21 days old. This is the age when they are still very sleepy and don’t mind being moved around and posed. However there is nothing to say that beautiful baby images can’t be taken even when your newborn is a little older, the only difference is that your baby might be more aware and some poses might not be achievable.
The session usually lasts 2-4 hours; I follow the baby’s lead so the length of the session depends on how sleepy, hungry, fussy etc. your baby is. I always allow plenty of time for feeding and soothing. I pose and handle your baby with the utmost care and never force them into any poses they don’t want to be in. I typically schedule newborn sessions in the morning, around nine or ten as babies tend to be sleepier at this time of day.
I have wide range of posing props, baby outfits, blankets, hats, baskets, bowls etc.
We can discuss before the sessions if you have any favourite colours or props you have seen on my website that you would like to incorporate. And I will do everything in my power to create beautiful images that you can cherish for many years to come.
WHEN TO BOOK
The best time to book your session is after your 20 week scan. This will secure your slot and no matter when your baby makes their appearance I will have a space for you in my diary around your due date.
As soon as your baby is born, please have someone get in touch with me so we can arrange for you to come to the studio within those precious first weeks.
Studio
Newborn sessions take place within my cozy studio in Medbourne, Milton Keynes. Here, you will have access to my large selection of props, it also ensures that we have the perfect lighting and cozy setting for a sleepy and happy baby.
I do all the work while mum and dad relax on the sofa with the hot or cold drink.
PRODUCT GUIDE
£85 SESSION FEE is paid at the time of booking. It is non-refundable and secures your slot. The session fee pays for the photoshoot but doesn’t include any images. You can choose one of the following three collections for your images:

MATERNITY PHOTOS

I would love to capture your beautiful new curves and celebrate the new life that is growing inside you in an elegant and beautiful way.
The best time for a maternity session is when you are around 30-34 weeks into your pregnancy, I recommend booking your session at the end of your second trimester.
