Yes, the weekend slots are very popular and get booked up very quickly and far in advance.

What relevant qualifications do you have to be a newborn photographer?

I know how precious your little ones are so safety is my upmost priority whether I am taking pictures of a newborn or of an older child. I am a qualified newborn photographer with extensive training and 10 years of experience so you can rest assured that your baby will be in good hands. I have been lucky enough to train with the best in the photographic industry, to name just a few, Kelly Brown, Zanelle Walter, Gary Hill, Elli Cassidy. I have a training in newborn safety and also a first aid course. I am fully insured and a member of official photographic bodies, The Guild of Photographers and The Societies of Photographers. These insure that I run my business and practices according to the professional guidelines.

How old should my baby be for a newborn session?

In general I find that the best time for photographing newborns is between 1-4 weeks. This is the time when they are generally sleepier and not so alert. Having said that, every baby is different and I tailor each shoot to your baby and how they are on the day.

How Can I schedule a newborn session when I don’t know when my baby will be born?

All bookings are based on an estimated due date. This reserves a slot in my diary. Whether your baby arrives earlier or later, all you need to do when you baby arrives, is to message me or call so we can schedule an exact date.

What should a baby wear for a newborn photoshoot?

All you need to bring for your baby is nappies and plenty of feed, I provide all swaddles and outfits and props.

How long does it take to get my photos?

The waiting time to receive your final images can take anytime between 2-4 weeks. This depends on the season and current demand.

How do you keep your studio and props clean?

The safety of your baby is my upmost priority, which goes hand in hand with cleanliness. After every photoshoot I disinfect all touch areas. All props are thoroughly cleaned and all fabrics and outfits washed after every use.
