Budget-Friendly February Half-Term in Milton Keynes

Can you believe it’s almost February half-term? I’m currently sitting here, torn between looking forward to my two boys being off school, and a little bit of dread. Parents know how it is - it’s a tricky week between the cold winter weather and the not-so-distant memory of all the Christmas spending.

With this in mind, I’ve created a list of some budget-friendly events and activities in and around Milton Keynes to keep the whole family smiling during this February half-term.

🌳 Tree Tots Outdoor Learning - A weekly 50-minute nature play session for your little ones under 5. And it’s just £1 per person!

🎵 Music Bugs - Sensory music and movement classes for your baby, toddler or pre-schooler.

🐞 Woburn Sands Emporium - There are some craft events running, as well as a free nature trail hunt.

🌟 Big Mama’s Soft Play Cafe - A soft play cafe for under 5s, and you can stay and play for as long as you like.

🐐 Hogshaw Farm - With fun family events, your little ones can pet and feed the animals.

🥁 Hartbeeps - These are multi-sensory classes for babies, young children and parents.

🐑 Mead Open Farm - Visit the farm to see the newborn lambs take their first steps in the Lamb Nursery!

🤖 Phonics with Robot Reg - Classes are available for children aged 3 months - 4 years. They are fun, varied and educational.

🧪 Science Museum Live at Milton Keynes Theatre - In partnership with London’s Science Museum, it’s an amazing family show.

🦆 Mucky Ducks - There are ‘introduction to messy play’ classes for pre-weaned babies, 2-6 months. And for little ones aged 6-18 months, there are all edible messy play classes. Each class is themed!

👣 Stowe’s ‘Stowedrops’ Walk - It’s snowdrop season, and this walk is perfect for enjoying the views. You can get the route for free via the website.

👶 Baby College - Creative and fun classes are available for infants, toddlers and juniors.

However you decide to spend your February half-term, I hope you have a lovely week! Make sure you snap plenty of pics if you visit any of the places I’ve listed. And if you have any more suggestions for what’s on in and around Milton Keynes, please let me know.

Happy Half-Term!😊
